The safety and wellbeing of every young person at Vortex Cheer is our absolute priority. We are committed to providing a safe environment for all.
Our Commitment
Vortex Cheer is committed to ensuring that all children and young people who participate in our programmes are safe from harm. We follow best practice safeguarding procedures and all coaches are DBS checked and trained in child protection.
Key Principles
- •The welfare of the child is paramount
- •All children have the right to protection from abuse
- •All suspicions and allegations will be taken seriously
- •Staff will work in partnership with parents/carers
Staff & Volunteers
All Vortex Cheer staff and volunteers:
- • Are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked
- • Complete safeguarding training annually
- • Adhere to our code of conduct
- • Never work alone with children
